I'm going to dublin for a couple of days, any tips on what I should see/do?

Yes, thank you, any suggestions involving Guiness has already been plentifully made by various guidebooks. Nice areas sans crowds of tourists are most appreciated, though.

That got closed down years ago. Not enough business.

I've been there, but can't recommend any places. I was drunk.

I actually took one of the open bus tours, normally wouldn't even consider it... but was actually really good. Interesting and the driver was really funny.

Don't drink Guiness; it tastes akin to melted down tarmac.

I use to like Car Bombs.. but it has been a while since I had one (over a year?) and I am afraid I won't like one now (I drink a lot less).

Oh, probably don't ask for an Irish Car Bomb.

It is made by filling a short glass half way with Guinness Stout. A one ounce shot glass is filled with 3/4 whiskey and 1/4 Irish Cream. The shot glass is then placed in the glass of stout.

I have known a few people to take exception to it.

It sucks at crappy bars that only have plastic shot glasses. They don't mix properly, and so it isn't as good. It is really best drunk fast.

Not that anyone stops drinking, and starts again. But if you are even just slow at chugging it isn't as good.

Yeah... I would say that's probably not the best thing to order in Ireland.

Lol, I agree it is pretty bad.

Tasted good though.
