I thought it was a intriguing film. How accurate do you think it portrayed reality?

(I know, in any fiction exaggerations are made to illuminate points, I am asking about the accurateness of the points)

BGH gives some really insightful feedback there...

I liked Syriana, don't know why that kid died, kind of pointless... but the rest was probably rather accurate. How am I to know?

I enjoyed it in a sort of God I wish this stuff didn't happen...

The worst thing though was being able to predict nearly everything thing that happened - obviously out of my worst-case-scenario pessimism...

And the pointlessness of the kid dying - that was the point!

I really liked it, but then I'm not one to care excessively about realism and factual portrayal. I enjoyed the craft, the subtlety (the pool death scene was brilliant), the character interaction, the pacing, the camera work and the acting, all great.

The experience was slightly hampered by watching it in a cinema with Catalan subtitles, thus losing out completely on the arabic bits.
