In a technical drawing for a villa I see a lot of words that I can't place.
(we are designing a villa in Umbrie now)
like cucina = kitchen
etc. etc.
Now we see on a drawaing the word RIP. what kind of room is that, what's the function, those rooms are rather small.
Pleezz help me.
thnx

Bet it's not Rest In Peace (jesjes funko you wanted to answer that didn't you)

He has to finish the English version of the Istituto Nazionale di Statistica site first.

ripostiglio

I can't recal the english translation now.
A small room used as a cabinet or closet?
Where you store assorted things you don't have a place for

where in Umbria?

many small villages in Umbria are famous, like for instance Assisi :)
will you have to go there?

to complete the above info, the word comes from the verb riporre (http://www.wordreference.com/iten/riporre), and its participle riposto
