If you wonder, then it has been too long.

The traditional 5 year gift is Wood!

Greg W
26-06-2006, 13:43:59

Japher

I'll tie a bow around it.

Greg W
26-06-2006, 13:50:37

If you have to ask, you are probably going to be divorced soon.

I figured he must have somehow married a saint

I am giving Jap some guff, but I think he would be a cool guy to hang out with sometime. I just think that (based upon how he talks) he probably isn't the most considerate.

Give her a morning poke and then piss off to work.

Oh yeah!

So I go out of my way to do something all romantic and she does nothing?!

I'll just get her something. No idea what, but something. We leave for Fresno on Saturday (so I'll be gone forever) so it's not like I can do something to kewl, like get a cabin somewhere or something.

In that case, leave her in the cabin. In several bits.

If you want to live to see Saturday and not be in the doghouse for the next few weeks then you'd better not forget!! :)
The other good points earner is to show that you have planned it in advance and not just remembered on the way home

Get her something abstract. Like make a card that says she gets a day off from cleaning or taking care of the kids or something stupid like that. She'll think it's sweet, then promptly forget about it, letting you off the hook.

Japher

that's borderline genius

shagnasty

Pearl necklaces are always popular jesjes they are. she would like that i think.

Japher
27-06-2006, 14:55:58
if she helps pay for it then sure!

shagnasty
27-06-2006, 16:02:29
jesjes give her matching earings to.

Caligastia

Give her a big smooch, and say "Happy Anniversary honey". If she asks for a gift, act hurt and say "what, my kisses aren't good enough any more?":D

mr_G
28-06-2006, 09:00:44
