There is a new office policy against wanking Funko, so no can do.

DaShi
08-06-2006, 09:38:20
1/3 cup of vinegar, 2 raw eggs, 1 cup of milk, and a 1 tablespoon of salt.

Funko
08-06-2006, 09:39:07
Can you get a curry anywhere nearby

Kitsuki
08-06-2006, 09:40:34
Yes but I dont have access to an oven. :(

Im currently massacring jaffa cakes.

DaShi
08-06-2006, 09:41:32
Adding some curry would probably help too. Good idea!

Nills Lagerbaak

Jaffa cakes will be about as much use as a diarrhoea parachute.

You need curry man, and lots of it!

Listen to the dutchie, bru is the cure for everything

Kitsuki

Last night was absolutely the last time I go for "a drink" with a pretty female journalist.

Kitsuki
08-06-2006, 09:47:08
And I now have Irn Bru. Note I do not like the taste of it, so if this makes me feel worse I will blame the two of you forever.

Sugar, water, caffiene and quinine.

All you need for a hangover cure

mr_G
08-06-2006, 10:01:34
it will delay your hangover.
after the londonmeet my hangover came two days later.

Ginfizwithatwist

2-3 pints of good ol H2o and 400-800 mgs ibuprofen (if you can take em) before going to bed after your piss up would probably have ensured you did not wake up with a hangover, ( prevents the dehydration and irritation of the head) however for now take a couple of pain killers/anti inflammatory tablets and consume lots of H20 - thats all you can do
You poor bugger, hope she was worth the pain and suffering
:D

Anyway, was this the reporter who said, then retracted, that you looked like Brad Pitt?

Did you 'work on press relations' and I think you know what I'm talking about. *nudge* *nudge*

Kitsuki
08-06-2006, 10:10:14
It was that reporter, and no not in the way you *wink* *wink* are suggesting...

Funko
08-06-2006, 10:11:08
Ah well, maybe next time

King_Ghidra
08-06-2006, 10:23:55

Funko

This was on election night; she was stone cold sober. Clearly, she was also right.

Greasy foods, hamburgers and such. And sugar drinks like coca cola.

Another vote for water. Hangovers are caused by dehydration, remember. ;)

Kitsuki
08-06-2006, 11:17:00
Thats sensible unfortunately, and not as tasty as bacon sandwiches, curry or jaffa cakes.

Nills Lagerbaak
08-06-2006, 11:19:31
A quick romp in the toilet with the receptionist.

Kitsuki
08-06-2006, 11:21:35
Our receptionist is male, but if thats what floats your boat Nills.... ;)

Funko
08-06-2006, 11:23:04
Dehydration is only one of the causes.

Alcohol dehydrogenase breaking alcohol down to acetaldehyde which is very toxic and that's the thing that makes you feel sick.

The second is various different cogeners that help give you the headache.

You also metabolize alcohol really fast, 2 steps rather than 20 for glucose I think, and that produces a lot of NADH which slows down gluconeogenesis in the liver causing hypoglycemia.

It's actually not a great idea to take painkillers before you go to bed, because they can irritate your stomach in the presence of alcohol. But remaining well hydrated is a good idea.

Anyway, painkillers, water, bru and curry are the obvious cures.

Don't forget wank.

Oh and Kitsuki - a male receptionist? You really are a progressive Tory.

Funko
08-06-2006, 11:25:15
All Tories get into a bit of bumming at their exclusive Public Schools, it's a well known fact.

Kitsuki
