Anyone have any suggestions / recommendations re software that would batch resize picture files for me to a specified size ? Ideally PD or trial period.

Just had trouble sending some large pictures from my camera to family via the email. It'd be nice to just kick off a pre-process on them, to make them smaller, consistent size files (and smaller on the screen too) first.

Photoshop can definately do that.

However Paint Shop Pro (shareware) is fairly well-featured so should have some sort of batch facility. Can't say for certain though.

If there is, I haven't found it.

Cheers. Lots to choose from then, but the recommendation so far is 'photoshop' or 'paint shop pro'.

Irfanview (http://www.irfanview.com/). It's free. I use it at work, it rocks.
