So, they've worried about biopharming and the shutting out of US crops in lucrative overseas markets, but they're happy about GM in general because they can get the WTO to rule to force other markets to buy that, whether they want to or not.

It's a mad world. But ties in rather well with my other thread about an authority telling a country's institution who they have to pay for a service they didn't provide. Seems abuse of power isn't stopping anytime soon

In the meanwhile back to this specific story. one can understand why this is a problem. Too close to turning unwilling folk into cannibals. Is there nowhere some company won't go to try to grab more $$$ ? (It was a retorical question people.)
