You can also buy USB floppy drives pretty cheap - I know floppies are stone-age tech but they still come in handy now and again (and as with your PC, most new ones don't seem to have them...)

Whichever one it is that isn't friendly with Nforce 4 (SLI) motherboards.

I think it's the Maxtor that has problems.

Both pretty average brands.

Yeah, covarient is very important. I'd do that before anything else.

Fancy sending folk to a work blocked site for details.

Not that I know which you should get anyway. Which is cheapest & biggest ?

Western Digital Raptor and Fujitsu 15K come to mind.

Stupidly expensive. I'm quite happy with Hitachi cheap and cheerfuls for most builds.

I bought a maxtor in the end. There was anice choice between maxtor and maxtor. typical denmark

The range of opinions on things like this always interests me.

Of course, I couldn't give away Hitachi drives around here after the problems with the 'click...click... dead' when they were IBMs.
