My local store has (for some reason) a dizzying array of expensive (2-5 per 100 grams) chocolate bars from all over the world. We're talking Valrhona, Galler, Amatller, Valor, Hachez, the works, plus of course generally available ones like Lindt, Anthon Berg and Isis. So I'm wondering which ones are worth trying? Not that I haven't had most already, mind you.

Favourite so far: Dolfin (http://www.dolfin.be/cadreinterneuk.htm)'s bar with cocoa nibs. Intense, complex flavour that lasts forever.

What's your favourite chocolate maker?

That wasn't chocolate.
You can't possibly describe that abomination as chocolate.

I have had some not so good chocolate in the past, but I didn't think they could make a chocolate product where I'd have one bite, feel like I needed to wash my mouth out and never want to taste it again.

You stole that line, and slightly modified it, from one of the reviews about your band.

Basically replacing music with chocolate and ears with mouth.

That was our best review, but don't change the subject.

OK I remember that story, there was also one where a guy who was coming to visit us got off the train a stop late.

I thought there might have been a better one I didn't remember. :D

The Cadbury factory in Bourneville is still in Birmingham, but a few miles from where we lived.

I really love Truffles.

My mom's cousin once brought a sack for us (that he had made himself), and I about made myself sick on them.

I dislike the ones that come on a bag from some store though, I like only the ones that are at candy shops and are just sitting there to be packaged...

If I knew where a chocolate shop was, I would probably break my diet.

(I went to the Hershey Theme park, but wasn't at all excited about the candies they had in their stores.. even the best of them are only decent)

Don't really have a favourite, even the bad stuff is good. And what's best depends on the occassion.

Must try one of these Heresy Bars sometime.

The horrible part is, you eventually get used to it if you're desperate for chocolate at, say, work where people keep dishes of the stuff on their desk for people like me to mooch off. I'm trying to quit, honest. It's awful. I mean, if people are going to buy supermarket chocolate, they could at least buy Dove or something. Just as convenient and doesn't taste like it has gym socks in the recipe.
