How do you mount a flash drive (Memorex Travel Drive) in Red Hat?

Time to reinstall your operating system.

Your Flash drive should mount automatically in a modern Linux distribution.

It doesn't in Red Hat...

Didn't have to reinstall (Would have been bad, others use the machine), one of the 'post docs' fixed it.

Considering the quality of this forum, we could really use some Post Docs around here.

They'd refuse to take the prescription.

A post coroner might be more appropriate

In that case, try mounting the SCSI devices one by one, until your drive appears:

mkdir /mount/usbkey
mount /dev/sca1 /mount/usbkey
mount /dev/scb1 /mount/usbkey
mount /dev/scc1 /mount/usbkey
...

You might have to be root, I'm not really sure.

when I mounted boot I did it right except for sda1 (Boot) instead of sdc1 (USB)

I fixed it after the Post Doc got Linux working again
