This Thursday I will be in London for a meeting. It's an afternoon meeting, but I will be landing on Stansted at 7.10, and departing at 20.55. Somewhere in between I will have an hour or two to kill.

Is anyone in the centre of London thursday? If so, I'd like to have a few drinks, maybe lunch.

Drek I have two words for you. Paternity Leave!

Though I'm not working in London on Thursday I could come down in the afternoon/evening.

if drekkus is landing on stanstead, someone had better alert the emergency services

Reminds me of how funny the Germans found the idea of "standing in the road".

Would be cool if we could meet at the end of the afternoon, early evening. I'll have to check what the exact schedule is of the meeting, so we can arrange something.

I take it that the expression "in a meeting" doesn't mean what it used to before I last left forever then...

Drek, you should postpone the meeting to next week and come to RC's wedding :D

Too late. :D Nav and I met shortly for a beer yesterday at Liverpool Street station. Was really cool meeting him again, even for half an hour.
