I required a certain level of percision in my script, and told it to keep trying until it acheived it...

I think I made an infinite loop

Always make a "if the best doesn't improve in x attempts accept it and exit" condition. Wuss.

physics

Oh

well, I have no classes to take if I can rewrite the paper I failed last semester

but to get my PhD, I need to have a successful experiment (considering that probably over 32 million dollars has been spent on it is another reason to wish for it to be successful), analyze it and publish it, and than write my thesis (thesis for nuclear physics students is generally 200+ pages) and defend it

additional requirements is a B average (a bit below that, honestly, but will be fixed if this grade gets fixed), passing a lab class (pass at a B, which will occur if this grade is fixed), writing a scholarly paper, and giving a scholarly talk
