View Full Version : Get rid of Democracy!

MOBIUS

Well?

We've got Blair and Bush in power FFS! Not to mention the fact that Berlusconi was voted in as well, though it seems the public is coming to its sense there - or at least the majority of it is...

Maybe it's just we have too many stupid people voting - but if democracy gets us these twats then give me a dictatorship any day (as long as I'm in charge...;))!

Well that's an intersting recent trend, that utter retards with severe personality disorder can get elected to the highest office or attract at least large support.

But the correcting mechanisms are working. Blair is a lame duck, Berlusconi seems to have lost, Aznar fucked himself for good, Haider is standing about 3 %, and Bush's presidency is falling apart even though the US media are incredibly obeservient in towing the line.

Most frightening thing I've heard about Bush lately was in the Torygraph yesterday, who quoted him as wanting to 'save Iran' - by nuking it apparently... :nervous:

Cruddy

So Mr Jack Straw, is Bush planning to nuke Iraq?

"That idea is completely nuts".

Word. Trouble is, Dubya fits that standard.

I read somewhere that the French are secret allies of the mullahs in Tehran.

The US and France are playing good cop bad cop with Iran.

The French give nuclear weapons to Iran! And they burn babies and use the ash as fertilizer!

We should nuke France - they are the real enemy after all...

It would kind of make sense

- we certainly have weapons of mass destruction (not sure they still work, though)
- the link with Al Qaida will be easier to make than with Irak thanks to Moussaoui
- We also have a despot who has been in political life longer than Saddam (Chirac started being minister in the 70s') and who also lives in complete isolation and has lost mental sanity
- we produce dangerous chemicals (roquefort, beaufort, livarot, corsican cheeses), and practice large scale torture (on ducks)
- we're also a god bashing laic state
- we have a decent track record in attacking US interests (José Bové burning McDo joints)
- our army is equally decrepit except for the Republican Guard (read Foreign Legion)
- our 5 million strong sunni minority is troublesome
- we could be carved around old ethnic lines (Bretons, Alsacians, etc.)

All in all, the case for attacking us is fairly sound... however, as we lack any oil, Halliburton has expressed no interest...

Dyl Ulenspiegel

But it's not about oil! Never! Not at all!

Time to bring "democracy" to France.

Left or right idiots in power get trashed at the end of their term. And when a 'middle' party is in power too long, the tide will swing further left or right in time.

What you descrribe is the normal swing of the pendulum. The recent development is that certain "leaders" are not just idiots, but outright psychos - Bush, Blair, Berlusconi...

Their appeal seems to be that they are radical - radically irresponsible, they do not grasp the concept of "consequences". But they have no doubts, and that seems to attract people who have too many doubts....

Blair also sees himself as being guided by, and ultimately judged by, God. Hence no need to pay any regard to consequences here in the present day - scary if you ask me

If you combine the remaining members of The Who and the remaining members of The Beatles you'd have a complete band.
