I want to set up another another broadband line at home so I can surf and stalk on my laptop. Trouble is, we only have the one phone line. I was told that it's not possible to have 2 broadband connexions running down the same line at the same time, as well as having the phone work. Is this true?, if so, is there a way round it, i.e. wireless networking and stuff? I know fuck all about this so please help.

If you're talking DSL, then yeah, you're fucked.

DSL?

Venom

Yeah, it might not be called that in Eurotrash land, but it's a broadband service over the phone line. Inferior to cable modems and the like.

A router is your only hope.

No, that's a wireless router. I meant one with cables. Like this:

Can you not just plug your one broadband connection into a wireless router thingy, then get a wireless card for your laptop and other computer? I know nothing about this stuff, but we have 4 different computers running off one connection here...

Did you read that report or hear it? Maybe you felt the braille copy and it's only your fingers that are tarded.

I wrote the report myself.

Make sure whatever you get it's cleary marked as having an ADSL modem in it.

This is what I bought last week!

Although you can get cheaper.

DSL = Data Set List. You need a IBM mainframe to run DSL, but it's worth buying one. You gotta install z/OS and ISPF to use it though.

You might get an idea of DSL looking at this
