Thanks to an unexpected bonus, I have a small amount of cash to spend and I decided to buy a MP3 player. Where is the cheapest place to get one on-line? I usually prequent ebuyer but wondered if anyone else had any good ideas???

Donate it to the poor CGer's fund to visit New York. By coincidence I am accepting paypal for this charity at this time.

I searched for "ipod" at CNet and that's the result. I'd also look at the creative labs MP3 player with video.

I'm looking at a creative. All informed comments suggest that their players are better value for money for the same spec as the equiv ipod.

Thanks for the link Oerdin but I was hoping for some UK sites.

Personally if I was going to replace my Creative Zen Touch (which I'm not since it works great and has many happy years of life left in it) then I'd go for a Creative Zen Vision: M.

Not sure if it is the lowest but Amazon UK has the 30GM model for just over 216 pounds. Unlike the one I bought a bit over a year ago it will play video and has a built in FM receiver. Plus unlike the Apple Ipod with the Zen you can move your music any where you want (on to your home computer, your laptop, a different MP3 player, or what ever) and it supports more file types then the Apple does.

Oerdin must be reading my mind because thats the one I was looking at. Ebuyer has it for 186 quid. Can anyone better that?

Believe it or not.

Comet, free p&p brings them in under ebuyer and savacentre.

But you might have to wait 3 to 5 days for delivery.
