Did you know that if you put Guinness smiley into google you get lots of hits of Alec Guinness playing George Smiley in John Le Carré adaptations?

It's a bit of a pointless celebreation though no? A day to get pissed, well I can do that any day.

Is there something I['m missing behind the oversized novelty guiness hats?

I'm getting pissed today because it's my last day at work.

King_Ghidra
17-03-2006, 14:18:39

Nills Lagerbaak
17-03-2006, 14:31:41
I just went for a swift guiness at lunch. Big mistake. The two cunts in front of me ordered over £60 worth of drink between them, then after about 1/2 hour of waiting this dick demands a warm whiskey and lemon, after pursuading the bar man he hadn't just made it up it took another 10 minutes to get that.... Arrrrgh one of the twats was called Jasper and I just wanted to punch his sloany face in!!!

Bristol Uni students are getting worse.

I should add that his accent was so posh the barman couldn't understand him! That probably added a good 15mins having to reapeat everything twice...

Oh ffs... St Patrick is the Patron Saint of Ireland and the paddys ( where do you think the nick name came from?!) celebrate the fact that besides bringin christianity to Ireland he also banished snakes from the Island amongst other do goodish things so as usual any event is sealed by copius amounts of alchohol so stop questioning things and get out there and have a right old piss up!
 :D

Wow, some friends that I did not know were from Westover, WV brought cinnamon-flavored moonshine (in a Ball jar) to the St. Patrick's Day party at my in-laws.

... and it was actually pretty good!
