You may want to turn down your PS2-fanboyism when you're posting news articles on the front page.

It doesn't bode well for the site when it looks like a bunch of uneducated 12 year olds have posting access.

No, there is a better solution.

Give Herman news access, to post with Xbox bias. Give me news access, to post with GameCube bias. This will balance out Funky, or even over-balance.

I own both PS2 and Xbox. :smoke:

I do prefer the Xbox though, to be honest.
Xbox and PS2 are both the same price here, except I don't need to spend $30 on 8MB memory cards a la the PS2, don't need to spend $150 on the HD + Ethernet addon, and all of my games are in progressive scan + dolby digital 5.1.

The only games I've played on the PS2 since January are GTA3 and MGS2, whereas I've played Halo, JSRF, GUNVALYRIE, Rallisport Challenge, Tony Hawk 3 all since January on the Xbox.

But you have the Xbox bias.

I just prefer the Xbox right now.
I've invested equally in both and own them both so it could go either way for all I care.

But the PS2 should be $199 for the features you get, not $299.
It's amazing to me people are still buying it at this pricelevel, considering the competition it has. They should wait a few months for the pricedrop.

Like I am. I just leech off other people for the time being.

Definately! We need something to either tone him down, or get more outrageously biased authors posting news.

Speaking of posting news... I was given an account to post news under. But noone gave me the instructions on where to go URLWISE to actually post news. So... where the hell do you go to post news if you have news posting ability?

Herman - does that mean you're playing your X-Box through a digital projector or plasma screen? If not, I doubt you'll see any difference...

In the UK - the Ex-Box is currently 100 more expensive than the PS2, at 299 (or in your currency $450), wheras the PS2 is 199 ($299). There are rumours of an Ex-Box price cut, there are rumours of a GameCube price cut to 125 at launch, and now there are rumours of another PS2 price cut.

Sony WEGA XBR 36" (HDTV). So yes, there is a big difference.

There aren't rumors of the Xbox pricecut, it's official.
The Xbox and PS2 launched for the same price, and you got more hardware for the price with Xbox, but the PS2's too firmly entrenched already. Thus the early pricecut to match the PS2.

The Xbox and PS2 both launched initially at $299 in North America, and they're both still there (which is staggering, considering how old the PS2 is and it's still $299)
