can u have a photo with indecent gestures?

mr_G
27-02-2006, 15:40:29
no there are some restrictions
like indecent gestures / racist tralala / porn / company names etc.

paiktis22
27-02-2006, 15:44:15
although an indecent gesture in one country maybe totally indifferent to the other!

example: the trophy of the open palm, a highly insulting gesture here in greece (kind like the middel finger), completely unknown in the rest of europe.

so i can go to england and get a card and come back to greece :D

Drekkus
27-02-2006, 15:46:07

jesjes greeceman explain you made me google it and now i am all drekkus.....again.

paiktis22
27-02-2006, 16:03:08
well, the trophy of the open palm is this:
you outstretch all the fingers of your hand and you extend your arm to the direction of the one you want to offend.

for double effect you do this with both your hands and slam the one at the other as outstretching your arms towards the one offended.

maybe the roots of this go back to a penalty during byzantium when one representative of justice would dip his hand in ash and smear with it the face of the accused as a form of disgrace.

another eplaination is the eleusinian mysteries in ancient greece where the open palm, outstretched hands extended arm towards the other one was a form of curse to the "enemy", the "evil"

paiktis22
27-02-2006, 16:05:03
oh yes. the trophy of the open palm is officially called "mountza" and is often accompagnied with words such as "na" (there) "orse" (take it) or "malaka" (wanker)

I got complimented on my credit card background the other day. I don't get to pick what it is, it's just, like, water drops on a green background. Clearly, the checkout girl wanted me.

A teacher was teaching her class that two negative statements make a positive but two positives never make a negative.
A small voice piped up from the back of the class "Yeah, right"
