I use gps with my iPaq and/or ThinkPad regularly now.

It vocalizes instructions, etc. for me. It's handy when a road is blocked, it'll find the best detour for you.

Hud display with simple vectors has to be safer than taking your eyes of the road to look at a complex (small) display. You can see the road through the hud. Classy!

Wouldn't want my windscreen broken too many times though....could get expensive!
