I thought he was dead or something. Alas not.

It's incredibly grating but somehow it's actually prefferable to James Blunt and Daniel Powter. Am I weird for feeling that?

I kind of agree with you, but the lesser of three evils is still evil.

Okay now it's gone on to be a slow piano ballad without any electronicy bits. It's very very nasty, I take everything I said back.

Okay, I was hopeful when a Fugees track unexpectedly came on, but now it's some munter doing awful adult contemporary versions of standards. So far it's been What a Difference a Day Makes and Singing In The Rain, minus jazz plus slick pop production. Any idea who this might be so I can go over there and kill him?

Killing the guy playing it would be the merciful thing to do.

He's 17. Do 17-year-olds listen to David Gray?

The idiot murdering standards is apparently Jamie Cullum. I snuck over to his PC and checked iTunes while he was out.

Okay, now Coldplay is on. Hateful, but it's bloody Otis Redding by comparison.

Hmmm, Scabrous has located the person with the worst music taste in the world. Nice.

You could have deleted all his songs on iTunes at the time...

does he have jamie cullum's version of pharrell williams' 'frontin''?

i think i may once have remarked that we have a friend who does an impression of jamie cullum doing his version of pharrell williams' 'frontin'

as a result my girlfriend once did an impersonation of our friend doing an impersonation of jamie cullum doing his version of pharell williams' 'frontin''

anyway i've never heard the jamie cullum version, only the original and the once and twice removed impressions thereof

Nope, sadly just the most average.

I've hogged the PC with the speakers today and I'm playing a compilation of classic Beserkely power-pop sides. Take that, Jamie!

i would say better David Gray than country music

Thankfully us Europeans don't have to listen to that... ;)

He's in Nice? He must have his music up loud for Scabby to hear it.

A 17 year old who listens to David Gray, Coldplay and Jamie Cullum. At the height of his youth? Fucking hell...what a waste!

Well we were all a bit dodgy at that age. You'd have been into REM. I was obsessing over That Petrol Emotion. You see?
