And I don't care if anyone laughs at me. I'm passed the point of caring whether music is cool or not.

too bad drugs took the best out of all the cool bands. None of them released anything worth a damn since the mid 90's.

There's usually a couple of good tunes on every new Mudhoney album, and Stephen Malkmus has been great since he split Pavement. Beck albums are always great, and J Mascis still does some ok stuff too...

If you mean bands like Soundgarden and Pearl Jam, they were never any good (except for Ten).

Cobain killed it when he offed himself.

Beg pardon? Did everyone miss the review of the astonishing "Bubblegum" by Mark Lanegan that still graces the front page of Counterglow?

Did you know that the new Lanegan album (with Isobel Campbell) is getting 5-star reviews just about everywhere?

That's a wicked album (though it's much more an Isobell Campbell album than a Mark Lanegan album).

I saw the video with the two half-naked chicks. It's well sexy.

does audioslave not count as contemporary grunge?

for what it's worth, revisting all my old nirvana stuff has been a wonderful experience i should have done earlier

i forgot how great bleach and incesticide were as well as the obvously more memorable stuff from nevermind and in utero

I love the first 5 tracks on Incesticide. I think they are amongst my favourites... I must listen to that Nirvana boxed set.

I never was into Grunge at the time (being about ten years old), but a friend gifted me about five Nirvana albums last year and they're pretty good, all siad and done!

Or rather, "albums", of course. Only three of them are real.
