I only ever have Sherry on Christmas day before dinner, but I do normally have it then if I'm not too hungover.

Good to find out what kinds of things I'm going to be doing more of next year when I'm in my 30s.

How long have you been there? nearly 2 years? I still haven't made it for a visit.

The Shaker

Must be over 2 years now,
hey you can't rush things like visits, they take years of planning :)

Funko

i don't like sherry, but then i'm not wild about red wine either, it's one of my few remaining immaturities

my grandad used to try and drink it in secret when my family shared a great big house when i was very small. i used to shout 'grandad's drinking the sherry again!'

mr.G

I don't think the red wine thing is necessarily an immaturity, it's just a personal taste thing. A lot of people much prefer either red or white wines.

I love red, and do sometimes drink white and can appreciate when a white is good or bad but I don't really like it that much.

Dry pale sherry is a very different beast to traditional 'english' sweet sherry though if that's what you've had before?

A trule mature pallet, is that which can enjoy the dlights of a well mixed Campari and Soda!

Oerdin

It seems they're trying to change everything about sherry but still call it sherry. I've only had sherry once and it was the traditional sweet dark stuff. It royally sucked.

There was loads of booze around but no-one was drinking it. I had the excuse of being unbelievably hungover. Not sure what Tizzy's excuse was. :p
