I took Fri 23 off because the doctor wants to check me after she found out last month how much weight I had put on since Easter.
On the same day my colleagues will have a Xmas-office-lunch in a country restaurant, to which I won't take part.

I don't think I'll even have any Xmas meal with family

thank you for asking, I'm OK, except that I'm 12 kg fatter than last Xmas. :D
I don't think others are interested, but since you asked:
I usually see my doctor every 2 months for a quick BP check and updates, and prescriptions renewals. For a series of resons I saw her last month first time since Easter, so she wanted to see me again before Xmas, to verify blood tests too.

I blamed it all on the Dutch CG meeting.

yeah

I do BP test, Blood Test, and prescription once every 3 months

the one time where I arranged to go 6 months, my doctor was upset

and won't even go with the hint that that is all I need

yeah since I first met her when I was 12 and she was 28
 :p

BTW, her name roughly translates as Inda Coffin, that's extrarodinarily hilarious for a doctor!
