Roast leg of goat is one of my favourite dishes. You just can't get decent Goat here though.

Goats and sheep aren't that popular out here either but you can usually find some imported stuff. Free trade is nice.

There is a butcher shop not far from my house who survives by selling exotic meats which you can't buy at the regular super market. Gator, deer, caribou, raindeer, bison, and sometimes even more exotic stuff like lion or Cape Buffalo. Prices are very high though so I hardly ever go there.

Not Cape Buffalo. That's from Africa.

Gyros can be made from pork, lamb or goat. At least that's what they call them here.

I hate when they pair Buffalo with blue cheese... it ruins the flavor. A good red wine reduction is much better. They can even put a little blue cheese in the reduction, but they generally smuther the meat in the stinky cheese

Bison is the "buffalo" found in North America and Europe.

I've had Kangaroo - I guess that is sort of an Aussie version of a goat...

Ostrich is nice too.:)

Don't like goat much, the smell of the animal seems to come through in the taste.
