I know it's some sort of compression scheme, but I have no idea what is good / safe for unpacking the files.

Help, please! :)

You can download Winrar it's free.

This is a 100-0 attempt isn't it ?

Google for an app. I use Winrar.

I don't start threads in Technoglow for 100-0 attempts. :hmm:

I will check out winrar.

Might be wrong, but I think winrar is now shareware and no longer free.

There will come a day when this question is no longer asked.

I use PowerArchiver. It's not free, it's got a nag screen.

7-zip has RAR-unpacking capability. The program is free.

I use an ancient WinRAR.

PowerArchiver is working (thank you SP), but took over the ZIP files too without asking. Uppity programs annoy me.

The nag screen is a thirty day countdown to destruction.

I'll look at 7-zip once the clock runs down, thanks!

It did ask, but it didn't tell you what it was asking for. I'd send you my dad's key, but it doesn't work for the new version.

That's okay, you got me what I wanted -- access to tons of .RARified neverwinter goodness!

WinRAR has a nag screen but it keeps working after the trial runs out.

So does PowerArchiver, you just have to wait for 5 seconds or something (at least, the old version did).
