LOS ANGELES - Actor
Pat Morita, whose portrayal of the wise and dry-witted Mr. Miyagi in "The Karate Kid" earned him an Oscar nomination, has died. He was 73.

Morita died Thursday at his home in Las Vegas of natural causes, said his wife of 12 years, Evelyn. She said in a statement that her husband, who first rose to fame with a role on "Happy Days," had "dedicated his entire life to acting and comedy."

To be honest, he gave me more enjoyment than George Best ever did so I will mourn longer for Pat.

Look at this. What a legend!!

That picture is false. He never actually did a crane kick in the films.

Ralph Macchio should sue his family. I'm sure he had the foresight to get that move patented in some way..

Thats right. He never did. In the films.

Well, what else is he famous for?

He could catch flies with chopsticks. No need for relentless toxic spraying. No toxic spray in HIS tea.

Quit moaning.

He's dead, you're alive. Be thankful.

Besides, the autopsy may yet reveal he died because he did'nt have enough toxic spray in his tea.
