one night when really drunk... I squirted dish soap all over the kitchen..

(this was like 3 months ago or so)

I cleaned the floors.. and cleaned some other things.. (The kitchen was.. and is still (But not as badly) thrashed)

but the ceilings are another story.. there are marks across the ceiling

what should I do?

Now there's some real sentence structure.

Funko

Whenever anyone enters the kitchen dive onto the floor and scream "OH MY GOD! DON'T LOOK UP! DON'T LOOK UP!!!!"

Resource Consumer

use tomato ketchup - spray it around the walls. Everyone will think it's blood and not bother to worry about the ceiling

Japher

get it on film and pitch it to NBC

we already had that

and sauces and other food stuff sprayed all over the floor (and oil everywhere)

but the floor was cleaned..

it is hard to mop the ceiling...

you don't really want to touch the floor, with anything but the bottom of your shoes

and the floor is much much much (orders of magnitude) cleaner then it was previously

Use sugar soap, or even a mild bleach solution. Or just repaint the ceiling.

The Mad Monk

...and, after that, depaint everything else.

Why don't you just cover the whole ceiling with dishsoap so it matches?

Drekkus

get a waterhose and spray the ceiling, it will wash the soap right out.

OK, I am returning to Maryland to take care of some things...

one of them is the ceiling...

I think that Drekkuses idea is the easiest, but I am concerned that it is stupid

Not stupid at all, if you like wet plasterboard and sagging ceilings.

It's really easy to paint a ceiling....oh wait. No it isn't.

Unless you have one of those fancy spray guns.

I wish JM still got drunk and did stupid things like this

this makes me remember over 20 years ago when at my gf's house, we squirted black coffee on her mother's bed blanket, in order to conceal.... but that's some information you surely aren't interested in....

:cute:

seriously, you could start chainsmoking, so that a permament smog layer keeps the ceiling out of sight

Dude! I want to party with you. ;)

Seriously, what reason, even by drunk logic, did you have for squirting dish soap everywhere? Kinky foreplay?

OK, one thing sort of worked. But I dont know what...

I think it was a soap scum remover. However, the bristles on the scubber seam to have removed some of the surface (Iso I cant sue the hard scrubber)

using really strange keyboard btw, I hate it

You went from using a hard scrubber to a keyboard? I think I see where your problem lies getting the ceiling clean.

I think I am going to try spackle

just cover it up...
