Tesco BLT sandwich (one of the few ones that actually have enough Bacon in them - most BLTs seem to skimp on it :) ) and some tiramisu when I can be bothered to make the trip to the fridge...

My appraisal review :(

Which will hopefully include a pint or two paid for by the boss, and then I've got a cheese and ham salad baguette and some crisps to soak it up when I get back.

A rather tasteless beef onglet (?) and steamed leeks. :(

Oh and I grabbed a seasonal fruit smoothie on the way out, which was the only thing worth boasting about.

Good call. Freschetta are the kings of the budget frozen pizza market in my opinion.

The person who writes stuff on the chalk board and takes the money is basically just there to do that, not make the food.

She isn't the quickest person in the world.

She even said the other day as she was struggling to look up the price of something "I look at these prices so many times every day, you'd think I'd remember them"

YES I WOULD!!! I didn't say.

I know them! Even the ones I never have...

I'd take a picture but I left my phone at home.

It's a chrome-effect futuristic toy car. It's taken pride of place in between my dual monitors!

fp

It's only marginally more than I have every other day. Don't usually eat bananas, though - that was me trying to be a little bit more healthy.

Today lunch for me was chicken noodle soup. Cos I am sick with a virus, and I thought I'd follow that old thing about chicken soup when you're sick.

Today is my fancy eating day where I treat myself to a delight vfrom the local global food market.

Will it be portugese peri peri chicken? Morocan lamb and couscous? Indian Thali?

Peri peri I think, washed down with a coconut and pineapple freshly squeezed smoothie! All for a fiver!
