But I have to. The bastards have started a new policy blocking most internet access. :(

I'm off sick...splitting headache and feel utterly miserable and really, really irritable...

It's terrible when you have to actually do work at the job!

Hmmm, what did you mean to type, then?

My grandma died friday so I couldn't make it.:(

Today, however, I get to go to work!

The public school teachers, transit workers, and CUPE are all on strike, so Victoria's nearly shut down. There's a 50/50 chance that my 1.5 hours of class this afternoon will be canceled.

I don't wanna work,
work with my baby no more,

17-10-2005, 15:21:02

that is what Tizzy meant to type

it was a joke

(my Grandma's aren't as well as they should be (They are as well as my remaining great grandma's actually))

If my job ever blocks the internet god help me, I may have to work./

My job blocks about half the internet but for some reason CG is allowed.
I think my boss knows I actually would go on that murder spree if they blocked here.

Chance to get on the internet would be a fine thing...

17-10-2005, 15:44:28
Oh...the funny "someone died but not really joke"...ooooh...ha ha ah ah ha.

It does seem a really odd thing to say...

17-10-2005, 16:20:46
Tizzy said that she should have said something different

I was imagining that she was scared that someone from her work had caught her in the lie

so was making up what her original post would appear in 'work speak'

I used grandma's death instead of having teh ebola because that is suppose to be the standard excuse..

sorry for the weird way my mind works

I think I heard a joke on TV when I was 8, about a french and an englishman telling incredible and outrageous stories about what happened to them since they last met many years ago; then the 3rd friend, a Belgian who remained silent all along, steps up and says "well, you might not believe it, but I have been dead"
