Well...I got my new job. Amazing what networking does...I couldn't have done shit (well, not in a hurry anyhow) on my own. 50 applications garnered me one telephone interview with a proparne distributor.
One phone call got me three interviews, a 10K raise and a 2K bonus for quitting with one shift's notice and starting right away.

I bought my team 6 dozen Krispy Kreme donuts, told them I thought they were the greatest and that I'd miss them (I plan on smoking pot with several of them now that I can--may possibly have sex with some as well).

My overnight peer (the semi-decent one, not the total prick who sold me down the river) looked at me like the last guy on the lifeboat...ha ha!!

Opted to give a professional letter of resignation instead of the colonresinoscopy I had imagined. Living well is the best revenge.

Apparently I may be flying to Spokane, WA. for some early orientation this week. Let the glamorous jet-setting begin!!

Glad that's all over...

It's a bit of a frying pan into fire deal, but oh well...when one must copulate, one tends to procreate, ergo, to sublimate one's own desires is necessity.
