what physics are you up to?

you were doing cosmology?

that is certainly cool, so tell me a bit about it!

I'm still doing cosmology, with Prof. Bennett (was PI on WMAP until he moved to Hopkins last year)

Am working on different methods of modeling foregrounds to better separate them from cosmic backgrounds.

Cool. A lot of the people I know here doing GR related stuff, are doing crazy stuff like looking into an aether model and the like.

I don't really know him, but I haven't looked into Cosmology much. My freind here who is doing GR hasn't talked to me since I told him he was a poor GM.

GM?

Bennett was the most cited physicist of 2003...

I'm trying to think of something funny to say about physics. I have to admit it is somewhat of a black hole to me.

That is cool. GM, as in Game Master, as in he is a huge (HUGE) PnP roleplay nerd.

My friend (I guess I will still call him that) works with Baylok Hu here. I also know someone who works with Ted Jacobsen here. I don't think anyone else does cosmology related work here.

Physics humor is similiar to Funko humor, very puny.

I suspected it would be a lot of fun poked at certain families in isolated areas.

One time there was a student in my quantum class who was sitting between two girls (who were macking on him).

I told my friend that the dude in the middle was looking very Hermitian...

Hermitian matrices "operate" on both sides...

that one is really good compared to a lot of the ones I heard from undergrad

other good ones were a list of physics kids names..

like Jacob Ian (which wasn't that bad)

(I actually don't remember the real bad ones, they are all written down somewhere)

Long, long ago, in a Latin class far, far away some people I knew thought it would be clever to rap in Latin. All I can recall is mofus.

One of those people dropped out of University and went on to be a famous person in progressive jazz (I think that's what they call it).

Let this be a lesson to you.
