I've always thought of Birmingham as rather blue collar and filled with beefy autoworkers. Am I right?

I moved here because my wife has been nagging me for beachfront property.

Ugh. Looks horrible. Birmingham isn't a country (although it is a county borough) so one wouldn't expect shire to be added anywhere.

I believe Birmingham is in Warwickshire. Not sure what area Birminghamshire is supposed to represent.

Check out literal-boy...

I think he was just casually taking the piss out of British convention, I suspect it wasn't really supposed to represent too much more...

Google gets lots of hits for it, and not all non-UK either. Must means something to someone.

Anyway, the only thing you should wax is your tadpole.

It's a fairly average city in blue/white collar terms. The auto workers are vastly outnumbered by the curry houses- long after Rover is forgotten, it'll be remembered as the home of the Balti.

And the Family naan bread which is so big it effectively takes the place of a table cloth.
