Anyone know why XP shoves icons on the second desktop onto the primary every time you swtich users without logging off?

Alternatively, can the switch users function be disabled to prevent one's wife screwing everything up by logging in when the PC is locked but being used?

It does it to me as well, think it depends on how you initially set up the monitors, i have primary with task bar and it fucks the desktop icons off to secondary, i just grabbed the lot and dragged em all onto the primary then restarted and they were all where they were supposed to be.

Yeah, but WoW plays in the primary (no way I can change that) and I like to have WoW associated icons on the secondary.

I've taken to dragging the taskbar to the bottom of the secondary monitor and making some toolbars available whose folder contents I want to appear on screen 2. Sloppy workaround. Damn Microsoft, Vista better be better than this!
