After waiting around for ages with nothing happening, I had to go to London today at short notice for a security clearance interview (need a higher level abroad). Apparantly its more or less OK.

The upshot is that they are packing up my house 3 weeks tomorrow and the enxt day I'm leaving forever to go to Copenhagen for 3 years.

Oh Jesus, have you any idea how much stuff I have to do in the next 3 weeks?

Bugger..... and Joy!

Don't think I'm going drinking tonight. Too much to plan and schedule. I'd like to meet up with folks before I do go. How about aheads up when people can make it into town, or Reading anyway.

Cheers

All the Reading folk are currently huddled in tents being pelted with torrential rain and hail in the annual Reading Festival thunderstorm -so on behalf of them - congrats!

You're not leaving CG are you? They have computers in that there foreign country don't they? Or are you going so deep under cover in enemy territory that you have to go without a pc?

I will have access to a PC at work but I'll be pretty busy so won't have much (if any) time to post from work and my home PC and stuff won't be available for some months as I need to find a house to put it in first.

What? They don't have the internet there? You could write? A phone now and then wouldn't hurt.

Good luck, Spartak.

Trust me 3 weeks is nothing to organise your life and chuck all your junk out.

Just stick it all in your girlfriend's/wife's parents' garage for 3 years.

3 weeks is plenty of time to organize my life. Mostly because I don't have one.
