Any suggestions?

For a legal purpose, I swear. No. Really. It is. I have to rip a DVD of a company trip to Africa and put it on the website. Anyone know of any good free software to do that? Ideally it'd be able to convert it to MPEG format.

It's $35, but as far as I can tell it claims to do what you need...

AutoGK is the most popular: http://www.autogk.me.uk/

It'll rip DVDs then encode them in DivX/XViD/etc for you.

100% free also.
