cool.

Wasn't he in the FMV parts of Privateer 2 back in the 90's
Also with a certain Clive Owen if I remember rightly.

lol just found the cast list

Stars Clive Owen, John Hurt, Jurgen Prochnow (of Das Boot and the Wing Commander movie), David Warner, Amanda Pays, Mathilda May, David McCallum, Brian Blessed, and Christopher Walken as Hassan.

Much as I love Walken's films and think he's cool as fuck, I've always thought he came across a little flakey in interviews. The American public wouldn't vote for him no matter how good his policies are.

Plus third party candidates in the US are even less likely to win than in the UK.

Don't know of him, personally, (some daft Chris Reeve joke aside) but is that the best publicity shot his team could find ?

They should get Martin Sheen to stand.

Interviewer: "Mr.Walken, what'd be your Weapon of Choice in case of another preemptive strike like in Iraq?"

I can't believe anyone would fall for that.

That was the most sensible US politics story I've heard for years.

After refreshing to get new quotes a few times I was convinced it was fake... but they had me for a minute or two.

Because it's extremely plausible from this side of the pond. Reagan, Schwarzenegger, Eastwood, Beatty...

MDA

yep, very plausible here too, it just got a bunch of people from the office :)

Venom

But it's Christopher Walken. He could never run for office.

I can't comment. The pun makers on the board might go insane from a jealous rage.
