What is it with the Dutch and visiting Wales!!?

I was in the Beacons the other day and I counted at least 10-11+ Dutch cars on the roads during the day - which must be at least half of all the cars in Dutchland! And that's not including the ones in disguise in hire cars or backpacking etc...

Why are you over here in so many numbers - is it because you're jealous that Wales has more hills and mountains in one square mile than in all of flat chested Dutchland?

It's weird, everywhere you go on holiday, you'll meet dutch people. Dutch folk are everywhere in big numbers. In the States as well. I think the current population of 16 million isn't counting the permanent number of 60 million dutch people travelling abroad.

One old couple even had one of those cool old wooden framed Morris Minor vans...:)

Thing is though that the Dutch cars easily beat out all the other foreign cars by more than 2:1 - and that is including the Germans!:gasmaske:

Those sneaky Dutch. The Dutch are to the travel world what the Finns are to the internet.

The Dutch are the new Aussies?

Oooh, I forgot about this!:)

As well as forgetting a 'leaving forever' thread about frolicking in bluebell woods in West Wales and such like - I forgot to mention seeing units of the Dutch Army in their funny troop carriers in the Brecon Beacons!!!

Obviously two years ago was the recon mission...

They're just trying to stay above sea level. :)

They festoon Cornish lanes and beaches too.

Even hard to reach quoits and dolmens have had the Dutchies passed uber alles.

Still the Dutch I've met have all been either well-hung (the men) or charming.

I've seen their cocks, obviously.

Easy to do in the Thermos Sauna in Amsterdam. Or in a sauna here in London.

The Dutch are much more relaxed with the whole sex thang- remarkable for a nation with Calvinist roots, but there you are.

The Yanks (and the Brits) could learn from them, especially with regards sex education in schools.

I've met perfectly charming Dutch women is what I meant....

Had a fascinating conversation about the Dutch Golden Age with a lovely woman at the Vermeer Exhibition at the Mauritshaus years ago.

Also knew a delightful gallery owner who helps run a gliding site in Australia.

No, someone from Scunthorpe didn't. He had to wash the dishes.

I don't think he would have fitted in

Did you know what you can't write Scunthorpe on Poly because it censors the second to fifth letters?

But at least it enables you to pinpoint Asher geographically.
