Notorious Russian spammer Vardan Kushnir was found bludgeoned to death in his Moscow apartment on Sunday. He was killed by repeated blows to the head, Russian news agency Interfax reports. (http://www.theregister.com/2005/07/26/russian_spammer_killed/)

Because he's an uncreative moron who never had an original thought in his life.

There were actually a couple of interesting/scary bits from that article not directly related to the dead spam guy:

Notorious Russian spammer Vardan Kushnir was found bludgeoned to death in his Moscow apartment on Sunday. He was killed by repeated blows to the+ head [...] The public prosecutions office of Moscow's Central administrative district is yet to establish a motive for Kushnir's death but is treating the case as murder.

Russia’s Interior Ministry reports 1,935 unsolved murders [...] between January and May 2005

I'm worried about my spamming now.

From now on, I vow to never spam again.

I keep getting mail from the "Southern Trust Bank" or something about my bank account there. Now if I was to have a foreign bank account wouldn't it be in Switzerland? Switzerland the land of molten cheese and clocks and mud in the lakes? Not some "Southern Bank". Spammers better get it right. Swiss banks.

Maybe it's in southern Switzerland.
