The train from Reading to Guildford takes a good 40 minutes and its an hour if you get the slow train.

I do like Guildford myself but that's because its where I was brought up.

You missed the privelidge of getting name brands at inflated prices at places like the forum shops at Ceasar's or the grand canal shops at the Venetian.

they do have some cool stuff at those places. Stuff you won't find at an outlet mall or shopping center/mall. but it will cost you hundreds, if not thousands of dollars.
