Explain imaginary time to me. Is it something that was introduced just to make the math work, or is it something that actually has a meaningful physical interpretation?

in condensed matter, imaginary time is used to represent temperature (or matsurbaro time) and is somewhat meaningful physically

it high energy phsyics, well

in einstiens special relativiity time is like imaginary distance

as such is (soprt_ of physical

and thath is how it fits in quantimically

yaaay, drunk in the middle of the week!

I think the not making sense part has to do with my poor talent with higher math.
