About time to reinstate the poll tradition I think.

Whats in the pie?

Funko
19-07-2005, 16:50:48
You can interpret it however you want.

Funko

Can I have my cake and eat it too?

Drekkus
19-07-2005, 16:53:51
Pie! That is actually what they're having here. And I loooooooove pie. More so than cake.

Pie. Fur cake just doesn't cut it.

Dyl Ulenspiegel

Where's the "Kuchen"-option?

Gramercy Riffs
19-07-2005, 16:55:08
If its chicken and mushroom or cherry, then pie.

If the cake has any marzipan anywhere near it, then pie.

So pie.

Do I still have tick the box thing?

Funko
19-07-2005, 16:55:42
If you do then at least Pie will get one vote.

Drekkus

This aint no democracy, man.

I've just thought of another reason pie might be winning.

Custard Pie.

Gramercy Riffs
19-07-2005, 17:30:12
Another reason why pie is winning could be the fact that cake is disgusting.

I voted pie because a cake chart isn't just the same

Gramercy Riffs

I say we declare pie the winner soon, and let cake slink off whilst it still has at least a little dignity left.

Gotta say cake. Black Forest Cake is the King of Cakes! Plus I can bake one!

Still, chicken pie is nice, and apple pie with french vanilla icecream is also nice. But not as nice as Black Forest cake.

SO, I'm voting pie, to offset Protien's cockup. What stupid logic.

Pie...because even though they call it cake,
Cheesecake is really a cheese custard pie (by technique at least )

Diss

cake is too dry and sugary.

Pie is more fruity and not as sweet (this is a good thing- as most cake frostings are too sweet for me)

The Original Hungry Monk Banoffi Pie

Invented at the Hungry Monk in 1972, Banoffi Pie is still as popular today as it was the first time it appeared on the menu. There have been many imitations as far and wide as Russia and the United States; it is even rumored to be Mrs Thatcher's favourite pudding! So the Americans call it a pie, and the Brits call it a pudding? Unbefuckinglievable!

Well, what's the difference between a torte and a kuchen?

I think a torte has to have a hard pastry base.

Dyl Ulenspiegel
20-07-2005, 13:50:25
"Kuchen" is very broad. A Torte is round - be it a cake or a pie (Pastete).

Yup, but Apfelkuchen is Apfeltorte if round. An Apfelkuchen on a baking pan would be no Torte.
