Of course you turn, it says No, U turn.

They simply forgot the comma, so if you drive here and see that sign, make sure to U turn.

Since I started working in the transport planning game, ped xing has been known to me as a common shorthand. Its just creeping into the mainstream, I guess. America first. I disagree with shorthand on signs though.
