... and there's a corpse stretched out in front of your door?

Happened to me on Sunday and I wondered if it was a common occurence.

Guess everybody has to go sometime.

Did you push it aside with your foot and got inside?

Cruddy

No, I waited for the paramedics to wheel the body away.

The police screamed something about disturbing a crime scene, so I didn't push my luck this time.

You should have just stepped over it and gone into your house, let the police do their business..

Actually I hopped over the back wall. The entrance to my house was too taped to even think about going in that way.

Yeah, a friend and me found a drunk old man once in front of my friends house, he was lying there in a ocean of mud (and piss I guess). Lookes a lottle like a swamp monster, all covered with mud. We brought the old sucker home (the friend knew where he lived) but the family didn't open. They were home, because we saw them behind the curtains. Luckily the old guy had a key, so we let him in to do his work of doom ...

That's one possible conclusion. The other is that Nottingham is a rough hellhole full of violent chavs :p

And crack dealers jailed in 2003 lived the same street. Charming neighbourhood Cruddy lives in...

Then again, I live in a quiet and sleepy coast-side suburb- and a couple of years ago the bloke in the house four doors up the cul-de-sac from my place was battered to death in his own home.

I can't say that's ever happened to me before. Back in college I did find some drunken freshman had stumbled onto our lawn and went to sleep. He woke up when the automatic sprinklers turned on and drenched him to the bone!

Ugh. Horrible.

There has been a spate of attacks on mosques around the country and we know that elements on the far right have been trying to exploit last week's atrocity.

I got the impression "on the far right" equates with "racist murderer", but I'm probably reading too much into it.

And for that I am eternally grateful. Thanks, brother.
