okay I wasn't the first to find it. It's right there on wikipedia.

Castration prevents baldness.

err, don't ask why I was reading the castration entry of wikipedia.

now all I have to do is open up some clinics, and soon I will be a millionaire.

And I always thought it's wanking. well, acually it's the same thing, getting rid of your sperms

I'm losing the battle...actually, I've lost. And I can say with some assurance that wanking DOES NOT alleviate baldness, unless my body reproduces sperm both instantly and exponentially.

I'm not bothered by it. Luckily, it happened so early I've already adjusted and now get to watch all my friends squirm.
I've kindly forgotten their past jabs.

Why are eunuchs in "Arabian Night" type films inevitably bald ?

I don't see that many references to eunuchs in them, but if you mean genies... yes.

Possibly this is down to an old animation problem about doing hair changes with stop motion techniques - you just leave 'em bald or the claymation people get the screaming hysterics.

EDIT: Diss, the cure is worse than the disease.

There are so many things that can be done for baldness now days. There are three or four different medications for bald spots, one for receeding hair lines, and if all else fails hair transplants. I doubt I'm vain enough to bother with those but I do know a friend who takes a pill for thinning hair (his hairline hadn't receeded but he was thinning out) and it really has helped grow new hair.

It costs him something like $150 per month though and I doubt I'd ever be vain enough to spend that kind of money.

I think I'd rather be bald than castrated.

That is very vain Oerdin to spend that kind of money!

Yeah, he tried to get his insurance company to pay for it but they said it wasn't medically necessary and that he'd have to foot the bill.

It's not that much when you consider what a lot of people spend on clothes and cosmetics and stuff a month.

Provost Harrison

No I suppose that is true...but I consider that to be ridiculously vain too...

Depends how much money you have!
