I had to go out and buy 100 blank DVDs to back up only the shows and movies I personally own.

Oh, on a side nnote, did you know public libraries have movies now? Better selections that Blockbuster in most cases and all free to take out!

Sopranos is an awesome show, too bad all 5 seasons would cost 450$ US to buy :(.

At least the library has them.

Pity post.

Babylon 5 was cheaper AND better for 5 season's worth! Except the first season. That's fairly cheesy.

I think somoene missed the real point of this thread.

And Babylon 5 was complete ass. As opposed to Firefly, which was only partial ass, compared to Enterprise, Stargate, and DSP which were all 3/4 asses.

Ouch, they don't do that here (well I can vouch for Bexley Council who didn't).

Alcohol 120% is a fun name. :)

DVD burners are great, aren't they? Not to mention all the copy software out there that can wipe out CSS and Macrovision. If you have lots of VHS tapes taking up space, then a video capture device is the perfect teammate for a burner. The great thing about VHS is that it's of such low quality that an equivalent MPEG-2 video doesn't use much space. :)
