What the fuck was Alfred's accent?

He sounded like Miss Brahms from are you being served.

English butlers are going downhill I must say.

Seeing it tonight.

But considering Michael Caine was brought up in Cockney East London - what do you expect!?:p

Saw a trailer with Michael Caine. He must be the least convincing choice of a butler ever.

I just can't see him as a butler, and he always plays himself!

I would expect him to be an actor and adopt a posh accent like you would expect.

Not expect him to any minute break a Sam Smiths bottle, shove it in your face and say

"Oi! Stitch that Jimmy!!"

I think they should have gone a completely different direction and hired Father Dougal to play the butler. Most americans wouldn't know the accent was wrong and Ardal O'Hannasheamasblarney(forgot his name) is damn fun to look at.

That would have been great.

This ties in with the other thread. Michael Caine's a film star but he's not much of an actor. :)

Alfred, can you keep the guests busy while I rummage through the batcave and learn the extremely implausable retarded master scheme that ruins an otherwise decent movie?
