Bossman = Dave

You haven't seen the third season?

It's awesome, takes it to a whole extra level. It's all shot on film too so it looks fantastic. On the downside it makes the first two seasons look a bit amateurish and you learn to hate the laugh track on the older ones.

I disagree. The second series was the best comedy. The third is good but it has a quarter the amount of funny bits.

Yeah they have never broadcast season 3 in the US. They showed season 1 twice, season one once then ratings were bad and they replaced it with that annoying guy who runs around yelling into giant cell phones, annoying people, Trigger happy TV I think it was called.

And for some reason they showed the Christmas special on the local PBS station one time.

Then (thankfully) trigger happy TV got a deal to make a US show for the networks meaning cable and Public Broadcasting could no longer air the original series, and we got Travel Sick which was frankly, great.

We watched the whole first season last night. Probably watch 2 and the x-mas special tonigth and then the all new material the next.

Oh, and the back cover of the second DVD is great

The perfect critic quote.

"If Monty Python and Blue Velvet had a deformed bastard child, it would make a show like this..."

It stops being a sketch show in the third series, instead becoming something much more dark and sinister, and while it may not be as overly laugh-a-minute, the jokes & stories have much more depth to them. I prefered it anyway (except for the utterly shit last episode).

Yeah, both the first two series have more laughs than the third series so they'll appeal more if that's what you are after.

I think the third series is so much more than the first two. It's great drama as well. Just jaw droppingly brilliant, moving, dark and funny.

Just my opinion of course.

Good. It willmake me laugh.

I was pissing people off giggling in the new star wars movie.

And the end scene that I swear is an homage to Shatner I couldn't hold back.

NNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

League of Gentleman is always going to be 10 x better than anything else on TV. I'd like to see the film but DH doesnt see why LOG is funny.

Well, just finished watching the 3rd season.

It was awesome until Papa Lazarou asked the man if he wanted to see his wife as she is now.

That ending sucked. Although the babies at the very end were great.

The new Star Wars movie was terrible, that's about all I can say. So damned lame. When they said a lot of battles, they weren't joking. There were all of five pages of script, 3 of which were delivered by that robot actor who plays Anakin / Vader / Asspuppet. Well since I don't know what you all are talking about that is all I have to say.
