I'm sick as a dog. Fever, snot coming out of my nose like a facet, acky all over, and I've practically been living on the toilet. What gives? I never get sick. :(

Yeah, well, I hate spending 4 days in the hospital, 2 of which are in ICU, so I don't want to hear it...

Take some echinacea and some vitamin C, drink some juice, have a little soup, and rest. It'll go away.

I took a multivitamin today and I've been alternating with one glass of OJ followed by one glass of H2O. I've been soort of sick for the last two days but it seems to have all come to a head this morning. Maybe I ought to go in the Jaccuzi then go to sleep.

I hate being sick like that. The only time I've ever fainted was when I had a fever.

Just ride it out. Painkillers can bring your temperature down. Lemsip makes you feel worse later.

You were in the tropics, so of course you're sick. Its probably something your doctor has never seen but that any Costa Rican can cure with tea made from the leaves of a local orchid.

Oh, and get well soon. :)

Yeah, just enough time has elapsed for you to have contracted some nasty tropical disease...

Say, don't you guys have a problem with that West Nile Virus thingy?

Supposedly West Nile Virus has reached California. Of course that virus needs a vector to spread and we have virtually no mosquitoes here unless you go to the mountains.

I was in ICU because despite the fact that I was responding to treatment, I still had dangerously clogged lungs and very little airflow.

If the numbers mean anything to you, post-treatment peak flow of about 150-180 for the first day.
