The Giant's Causeway, on the coast of Northern Ireland. There are similar formation on North-West Scotland, particularly on the isle of Skye.

Correctamundo! Always wanted to go there.

Sort of thinking of a driving holiday either up to North Wales (the other pic is Harlech castle) or taking the ferry across to Ireland - or both in a big loop!

BGH, the first one looks like your backyard - personally I would prefer to spend it in OR than NY, but then I haven't been to OR yet...

If you're going to Ireland, I strongly recommend the area around Sligo. It's got the oldest megalithic structures in the world.

Just ideas at the moment, but knowing me once I get there I'm going to want to go up and down the entire country!

The first pic looks more like the eastern part of his Oregon or Washington, or the western part of Montana or Wyoming. Maybe Idaho.

Just checked the pic properties, and that appears to be the case.

Dunno about the second pic.

BGM ... Big Game Munter. :-P~~

First option is better, BGH. NY is no big deal. I don't miss it.

Still leaning toward Montana...about a 16 hour drive from my home.

Frankly, if I don't get away from people I may very well kill some of them.

Montana is a very nice place to visit.

The problem with the first one is that it would be really, really nice for a day and then the next day you'd be tremendously bored.

By the third day you'll be murdered by a psycho in a ski mask or rogered by hicks telling you to squeal like a piggy.

I'd go with Montana. Trawling kids around New York would be a nightmare, why not wait till their older.
In Montana you can take them for picnics and for walks or paddling on the edge of a lake..... they'll find their own amusement while you and the wife canoodle in a bush somewhere. Plus everyone needs a bit of fresh air now and again.

not in a disneyland haha sort of way

but in a cowboy I wanna eat you sort of way

On a totally unrelated note, I was in the video store yesterday renting 9 Monts and Junior (also got The Woodsman, but it was so FUBAR'd I couldn't even watch it) and there were these 3 totally hot preteens wearing hardly a stitch of clothes and one of them (the dumbest one, and thus the pretties) was looking at a poster for Brother Bear and she asked her friends which they would rather get turned into, a moose or bear... They all agreed on bear and here I am thinking they must of have never seen a moose because they are awesome.
