Other than "this should have gone in the music forum"?

I fully expect this to be an abomination. I don't know how one would "murder Slayer" but I imagine Tori Amos has achieved it.

anyone heard Avril Lavignes cover of Metallica's Fuel? It's not half bad.

No but I heard her live System of a Down cover which is probably the worst thing I've ever heard.

yeah I heard that. It was quickly deleted off my hard drive.

Alanis Morissette - King Of Pain

One fine way to rape a song.

you want to hear a weird Slayer cover song? I mentioned this in the concert thread.

Modest Mouse does a cover of Slayer's South of Heavan. It's a pretty weird version. I'm not sure if Modest Mouse always sounds like that or just for this song. I've never heard of them before.

She has covered tons of stuff. Her best cover is Hurt. She did a good version of Smells like Teen spirit.

Does far too much Led Zepplin stuff, but she did get kicked out of her school for refusing to play mozart and playing Zepplin as a little girl.

She should really consider writing her own material.
